12. The Wodeyar family of Mysore took over the Mysore Empire after killing its king. The queen managed to escape but was later caught by the Wodeyars. The queen committed suicide but before dying, she cursed the Wodeyars of an heirless future. Her statue was installed by the Wodeyars and is still pray to this in the Mysore palace.
